Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) is stepping up to accelerate impact, transforming years of progress into a bold, forward-looking strategy that fuels growth and deepens community engagement.
With a growing team and expanded programs, MEDA set out to design a strategy that would build on their deep-rooted commitment to equity and collaboration. The goal was to channel these core values into a unified plan that drives fundraising, strengthens internal alignment, and amplifies community impact.
After a thoughtful selection process, MEDA chose to partner with Coleman Strategy Group (CSG) from our network of providers, for their deep commitment to mission-driven work and local expertise.
CSG’s strong Bay Area roots were crucial, as they could conduct in-person stakeholder engagement - an essential element for MEDA’s projects. Their experience working with historically underserved communities, including Latino communities, and their understanding of the region’s unique dynamics made them a perfect fit to help MEDA accelerate its impact.
Now in motion, this collaborative process engages staff, board members, funders, and community partners. The result will be a clear, actionable plan–one that retains MEDA’s six core results while refreshing its strategies, refining its theory of change, and strengthening the infrastructure needed for future growth.
