Abby Wentworth Joseph

Abby Wentworth Joseph is the Director of Human Resources, responsible for ensuring that the HR function continues to build a high-performing, inclusive, engaged team with strong systems and a thriving culture as it grows. She’s a builder, a refiner, and a systems thinker who began her career as a kindergarten teacher with Teach For America. Her focus on education justice and systems change has been a throughline ever since.

Abby has refined HR and Talent processes at an urban public school district as a consultant, led a growing Talent team during an expansion at Chicago-based charter network ReGeneration Schools, and spent nearly a decade designing and executing admissions strategy at Teach For America.

A proud New Jersey native, she has a BA from The College of New Jersey and an MA from Loyola Marymount University. Abby lives in Chicago with her family and would love to talk about the intersection of race and pop culture if you’re up for a chat.
