Rakesh Verma leads the product and technology vision at Catalyst Exchange, guiding the development of the product roadmap and ensuring the organization’s technology evolves seamlessly to support future growth. He focuses on shaping the product strategy and driving technical excellence across the organization.

With over 25 years of experience in product development and software engineering, Rakesh has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and scaling operations. His leadership roles span industries such as EdTech, Public Safety, Insurance, and Technology Services. Before joining Catalyst Exchange, Rakesh played a key role in expanding an early-stage EdTech company, driving both team growth and revenue. He has also led mission-critical teams that developed 911 dispatch software, responsible for managing two-thirds of all U.S. emergency calls.

Rakesh’s leadership style is collaborative and results-driven, focusing on fostering innovation through empowered, agile teams. He holds a Computer Science and Engineering degree from one of India’s top institutions and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Rakesh lives in San Diego with his family and enjoys outdoor activities, tinkering with new technologies, and working on backyard projects.
