Sema Ramos
Manager
Strategy & Services
A lifelong learner and student at heart, Sema has a Bachelor’s degree in Education Studies from DePauw University in Indiana. Having been raised in both the city of Chicago and the suburbs of Massachusetts, he is motivated to identify and address racial and socioeconomic disparities that exist in educational ecosystems. After witnessing various barriers in many different school systems, he dedicated his post-undergraduate career to college access as a college counselor in most settings, including international service as a Fulbright Scholar in Paraguay. At Catalyst Exchange, he is excited to support State and Local Education Agencies with capacity-building projects that will improve educational and professional experiences for students, faculty, and staff nationwide.
Outside of work, Sema loves spending time in nature, trying new foods, and consuming science fiction content.
